As part of his preparation for law school Josh worked for Douglas Ehlke, a lawyer in Federal Way, who taught him a thing or two about practicing law. Upon graduation Josh continued working for Doug until shortly after finding out he successfully passed the bar on his first attempt. Josh started his own practice at the end of 2010.
Josh now practices real estate, criminal defense and general business law. Josh has a diverse clientele from individuals to corporations and enjoys advocating for his clients and their myriad of cases.
Josh currently lives in Bellevue with his wife Amy and is expecting a baby in July, 2016. Josh and Amy have two dogs, a black lab and a lovable mutt, both rescues. Josh is an avid boater -- you can often find him up in the San Juan Islands, especially during the summer.
In addition to boating and the practice of law, Josh's interests include playing softball as part of the Mercer Island JCC league, wine tasting, traveling, volunteering with the alumni association of his college fraternity and avidly supporting the Huskies. Josh also enjoys spending time with his family -- his parents and grandparents also live on Mercer Island and his brother is only a few miles further. A true Seattleite, Josh plans to live in what he considers the most amazing part of the country the rest of his life.
