Joshua M. Moultray, Attorney

About Josh

Joshua Moultray is a hard working lawyer with an entrepreneurial spirit. Josh grew up on Mercer Island and started his first business before high school working on computer networks. Immediately upon graduation from Mercer Island High School Josh attended the University of Washington. While attending UW Josh continued to operate his own business, work for a private K-8 school, and maintain an active presence in fraternity life. After graduating as a big Husky fan Josh started a successful parking enforcement business with 12 employees until some changes in the law prevented his continued operation. In 2006 Josh decided he wanted to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer and applied to several law schools. He started at the Seattle University School of Law in 2007 (ranked #1 for legal writing 7 of the last 8 years). Josh graduated in 2010 and took his bar exam that July. He was admitted to practice law in November 2010.

As part of his preparation for law school Josh worked for Douglas Ehlke, a lawyer in Federal Way, who taught him a thing or two about practicing law. Upon graduation Josh continued working for Doug until shortly after finding out he successfully passed the bar on his first attempt. Josh started his own practice at the end of 2010.

Josh now practices real estate andbusiness law. Josh has a diverse clientele from individuals to corporations and enjoys advocating for his clients and their myriad of cases.

Josh currently lives on Mercer Island with his wife Amy and their son. Josh and Amy have a dog Chrissy that they rescued from the shelter on San Juan Island. Josh is an avid boater -- you can often find him up in the San Juan Islands, especially during the summer.

In addition to boating and the practice of law, Josh's interests include playing softball as part of the Mercer Island JCC league, wine tasting, traveling, volunteering with the alumni association of his college fraternity and avidly supporting the Huskies. Josh also enjoys spending time with his family -- his parents and grandparents also live on Mercer Island and his brother is only a few miles further. A true Seattleite, Josh plans to live in what he considers the most amazing part of the country the rest of his life.

Wesley C. McMahon, Attorney

About Wes

Wes started practicing law in 2009 at Capitol Records in Los Angeles where he drafted and negotiated agreements for bands of the record company, putting their music in TV shows, film, commercials and video games. Some of the projects he worked on include Nike commercials, the films Inception and Scott Pilgrim v. The World, as well as video games Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero.

After living in Los Angeles Wes moved to Denver, Colorado where he worked for a national law firm in the Energy and Natural Resources practice. In Denver his practice focused on complex real estate and business transactions for Fortune 100 clients, primarily in the energy sector. During this time he was fortunate enough to lead teams of up to ten people in the due diligence phase of acquisitions of assets valued up to $6.5 billion.

Working for a larger firm provided a lot of great experiences, but in 2017 Wes decided to move back to his home state of Washington to join Josh’s practice and re-establish it as Moultray & McMahon.  In making that move Wes pivoted his practice from advising large corporate clients to advising and representing individuals and small businesses with their real estate and business needs.

Wes received his B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University in 2005 and graduated from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 2009. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law on numerous occasions and is licensed to practice law in Colorado, New York and Washington.

Wes went to WSU so Saturdays in the fall are generally pretty stressful, but he gets away from Cougar football by doing a lot of skiing and going to concerts in Seattle.
