Joshua Moultray

Joshua Moultray is a hard working lawyer with an entrepreneurial spirit. He practices real estate and business law for a diverse clientele from individuals to corporations, and enjoys advocating for his clients.

A third-generation Mercer Islander, Josh started his first business before high school working on computer networks. Josh attended the University of Washington, where he continued to operate his own business, work for a private K-8 school, and maintain an active presence in fraternity life. After graduating, Josh started a successful parking enforcement business with 12 employees until some changes in the law prevented his continued operation. He started at the Seattle University School of Law in 2007, and was admitted to practice law in November 2010.

Josh lives on Mercer Island with his wife Amy, their son, and a dog Chrissy that they rescued from the shelter on San Juan Island. Josh is an avid boater—you can often find him up in the San Juan Islands, especially during the summer.

In addition to boating and the practice of law, Josh’s interests include playing softball as part of the Mercer Island JCC league, wine tasting, traveling, volunteering with the alumni association of his college fraternity, and avidly supporting the Huskies. Josh also enjoys spending time with his family. A true Seattleite, Josh plans to live in what he considers the most amazing part of the country for the rest of his life.

Wes McMahon

Wes McMahon has been practicing law since 2009, and—as a licensed real estate agent and attorney—focuses his practice on real estate matters including buying and selling houses, commercial leases and real estate disputes such as adverse possession, earnest money disputes and title issues.

Wes began his legal career at Capitol Records, drafting and negotiating agreements for bands at the record company. He later worked for a national law firm, where his practice focused on complex real estate and business transactions for Fortune 100 clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector. During this time he led teams of up to ten people in the due diligence phase of acquisitions of assets valued up to $6.5 billion.

In 2017 Wes moved back to his home state of Washington to join Josh’s practice and re-establish it as Moultray & McMahon. In that move Wes pivoted his practice from advising large corporate clients to advising and representing individuals and small businesses in an array of real estate matters.

Wes received his B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University in 2005 and graduated from the New England School of Law in 2009. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and is licensed to practice law in Colorado, New York, and Washington.

As a WSU grad, Saturdays in the fall are generally pretty stressful, but Wes gets away from Cougar football by skiing and going to concerts in Seattle.

Rates

As part of our commitment to top-tier service at fair and transparent rates, we offer three options for billing.

Flat Fee

We will set a price for a particular service, so you know exactly how much it’s going to cost. Paid up front, with no additional charges or hidden fees. We love working this way so there are no surprises for our clients!

Hourly

Hourly billing is the traditional law firm model, we are happy to bill hourly in instances where the scope of work is not clear from the outset.

On-Retainer

We’re your virtual legal department. You purchase a monthly block of our time on an ongoing basis. We’ll get to know you and your business, and be on the lookout so we can resolve issues before they become crises. Your bills will be stable and predictable—you can pick up the phone with a question, without worrying about an extra bill.
